Discover the Exciting Future of Suzuki at the Tokyo Exhibit

If you’re a fan of Suzuki, then the future is looking brighter than ever before. The Suzuki Motor Corporation (SMC) is showcasing its vision for the future, and it’s nothing short of thrilling. The stage for this exciting revelation is the Japan Mobility Show, taking place at the Tokyo Big Sight in Japan. Suzuki’s booth is aptly themed: “Answers for Excitement throughout the World.”

This marks the inaugural edition of the Japan Mobility Show, a gathering that brings together more than 475 diverse organizations from across the globe. It’s not just about established players; it’s a melting pot of innovation, featuring partnerships and joint ventures between giants like Suzuki and promising start-ups delving into personal mobility, robotics, and even the realm of flying cars.

Suzuki made a grand entrance at the event, unveiling the concept model of the upcoming Suzuki Swift. The Swift Concept retains the design essence of the current model while being entirely reimagined from tires to roof. Suzuki’s engineering prowess promises high-efficiency engines that combine remarkable power with even better fuel consumption figures compared to the current range.

The Swift Concept is more than just sleek looks and powerful engines; it’s packed with advanced technologies. Features like dual-sensor brake support, an adaptive high-beam light system, and a new driver-monitoring system highlight Suzuki’s commitment to making vehicles that are compact, affordable, and yet equipped with top-notch dynamic and passive safety equipment.

The spotlight at the Mobility Show wasn’t solely on the Swift Concept. It was joined by an impressive lineup of electric vehicles, including the eVX Concept, Spacia, eWX, and eEVERY Concept. The eVX Concept, in particular, wowed the crowd. This compact SUV boasts a staggering 500 km range on a single battery charge, setting new standards for electric mobility.

Suzuki’s electric venture is not limited to cars and SUVs. At the Japan Mobility Show, they also unveiled next-generation electric motorcycles and outboard motors. The e-Burgman, an all-electric version of the popular Burgman scooter, made a striking appearance, alongside a hydrogen-powered concept model from the same scooter family.

Suzuki Motor Corporation is on a mission, aiming to introduce no less than six battery electric vehicle ranges (BEVs) by 2030 in Japan and India, with five BEVs planned for Europe within the same timeframe. This is a testament to Suzuki’s commitment to a sustainable future.

But that’s not all – Suzuki is diversifying its electric offerings with plans to introduce fully electric motorcycles and outboard motors by the next financial year. A total of eight different BEV motorcycles and six electric outboard motor ranges will be on the horizon by 2030. Suzuki is even exploring the use of carbon-neutral fuels for its internal combustion models, making sure they leave no stone unturned in their pursuit of eco-friendly innovation.

The Japan Mobility Show will run until November 5, giving you more time to witness the future of Suzuki up close and personal. Stay tuned as Suzuki Auto South Africa will reveal more details about the new Swift, eVX Concept, and other concept and production models at the show. The future is undoubtedly exciting, and Suzuki is leading the way towards it.
