Get Ready for the GR Cup’s Zwartkops Cauldron to Bubble!

The roar of engines returns as the GR Cup, fuelled by TOYOTA GAZOO Racing South Africa, charges into the legendary Zwartkops Raceway for a white-knuckled Round 3! The first two rounds were a wild ride – and things are just heating up.

Sean Nurse (AutoTrader) currently leads the pack, fresh off his Kyalami double victory. But with only a 13-point lead over Alex Shahini (CAR) nipping at his heels, Nurse knows one slip-up could see him dethroned. Shahini, the qualifying king at Kyalami (before some gremlins played havoc), is a wolf in sheep’s clothing – ready to pounce.

Hannes Visser (La’t Wiel) and Jaco van der Merwe (Citizen) are no slouches either. Both have shown podium potential, with Visser itching to get back in the game after a crash sidelined him in Round 2. Every point counts, and these guys are hungry for a slice of the championship pie.

Zwartkops Raceway, a local hero’s haven, promises a thrilling battleground. The fast and flowing track will push driver skills to the limit, with the home crowd cheering on their favorites. Plus, the GR 86 Development Academy drivers, including last year’s GR Cup champ Setshaba Mashigo, will be itching to prove their mettle.
