SVI’s Ford-Approved Armour Now Available for Everest: Your Bulletproof Adventure Awaits!
Ford-backed Armour Now Available for Everest
SVI’s QVM status means warranty remains intact
B6 package offers protection against assault rifles
B4 discreet (handgun) protection also available
SVI Engineering, the maestros of armoured protection in South Africa, have just unveiled a game-changer. Now, you can get your Ford Everest fortified with SVI’s B4 and B6 discreet armouring packages. These come with the stamp of approval from Ford, ensuring your warranty stays as bulletproof as your ride.
Thanks to SVI’s Qualified Vehicle Modifier (QVM) status, these armouring packages can be ordered directly from any Ford dealership in South Africa. The best part? The standard manufacturer warranty and any service or maintenance plans remain completely intact. Plus, you can even finance the whole deal – base vehicle and armour included – through Ford Credit. Talk about a smooth ride!
“After the smashing success of our factory-backed armour for the Ranger, extending this to the Everest was a no-brainer,” says Nicol Louw, SVI’s Business Development Director.
B4 and B6 Discreet Packages for Ford Everest
SVI’s engineering wizards have crafted bespoke B4 and B6 armouring solutions for the Everest. The B4 package, offering 360-degree protection against handguns (up to a .44 Magnum), is your go-to anti-hijack hero.
This discreet package covers the entire passenger cell – tailgate included – with 21 mm armoured glass and Kevlar sheets. It’s lightweight enough to keep your Everest’s acceleration, fuel consumption, and dynamic performance almost unchanged. No suspension upgrades needed here; the standard door hinges are good to go.
If you’re a high-profile individual needing top-tier protection, the B6 package is your bulletproof bestie. It offers 360-degree security against assault rifles like the AK47, R1, and R5. This package uses custom-fabricated armoured steel plates, composite materials, and 38 mm ballistic glass. An armoured rear bulkhead with an escape hatch is included, along with a suspension upgrade to handle the extra weight. Upgraded door hinges? Check!
Both packages ensure all driver-assistance systems remain fully operational, so you can stay safe and smart on the road.
