The new Porsche 911 S/T
When it comes to iconic sports cars, few can match the legacy and allure of the Porsche 911. For six decades, this masterpiece of engineering has captured the hearts of automotive enthusiasts worldwide. To celebrate this remarkable milestone, Porsche has unveiled a limited-edition gem built for the ultimate driving experience – the Porsche 911 S/T. With only 1,963 examples produced, this special model pays homage to the purist spirit of the original 911, offering a unique blend of agility, performance, and nostalgia.

The 911 S/T takes inspiration from two illustrious siblings within the Porsche GT lineup – the 911 GT3 with Touring Package and the 911 GT3 RS. The heart of this masterpiece is a naturally aspirated, high-revving 4.0-litre boxer engine borrowed from the 911 GT3 RS, delivering a potent 386 kW. Unlike its track-focused counterpart, the 911 S/T channels power to the road through a short-ratio manual transmission, rekindling the joy of engaging with every shift.
With a keen focus on lightweight design, the 911 S/T boasts a featherlight DIN kerb weight of just 1,380 kilograms. Carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP) finds its way into the front bonnet, roof, front wings, and doors, creating a perfect balance of strength and lightness. Magnesium wheels, a lithium-ion starter battery, and lightweight glass come standard, further shedding excess weight and enhancing the car’s dynamic responsiveness.

One of the key highlights of the 911 S/T lies in its new lightweight clutch, accompanied by a single-mass flywheel, reducing the rotating mass by 10.5 kilograms. This engineering marvel works in harmony with the high-revving engine, producing instant and exhilarating responses, launching the car from 0 to 100 km/h in a blistering 3.7 seconds and attaining a top speed of 300 km/h. The symphony of engine notes from the standard lightweight sports exhaust system elevates the driving experience to an entirely new level of euphoria.
While the 911 S/T is engineered for winding country roads rather than racetracks, its aerodynamics have been fine-tuned for maximum efficiency in real-world driving conditions. Equipped with a Gurney flap on the extending rear spoiler and lightweight centre-locking magnesium wheels, the car guarantees exceptional mechanical grip and superior handling.

As a nod to its racing heritage, the optional Heritage Design Package enhances the allure of the 911 S/T. Dressed in the exclusive Shoreblue Metallic exterior color and featuring Ceramica wheel rims, this elegant variant exudes a timeless charm. The classic Porsche crest graces the front, hub caps, steering wheel, headrests, and car key, paying homage to the original 911’s historic roots. Inside, the car boasts cloth seat centers in Classic Cognac with black pinstripes, along with two-tone semi-aniline leather trim in Black/Classic Cognac, ensuring a tasteful blend of luxury and heritage.
To complete the 911 S/T experience, Porsche Design is offering an exclusive Chronograph 1 – 911 S/T. Featuring a titanium case, uncoated and blasted for weight-saving reasons, this limited-edition timepiece complements the purist philosophy of the new 911 special edition.
